I bought some silkies & sizzles last summer. The Combs on the males are not only large but I dont think sillie. Am I right? What is that crinkled one?

these could be just frizzled cochins or some pet qualilty first generation (or so) sizzles, they take a lot of work to get to the silkie standard.

These do NOT look like Silkies to me.

Thank you moomoododdy. I thought first generation mix would look like silkie/sizzle. Petite combs.

Silkies are very greedy when it comes to sitting on eggs. One time I had 3 hens go broody at one time and they were continuously stealing each others eggs. I think I had a total of 20+ eggs to hatch.

Oh yeah, I know they love to collect/steal eggs. I was just impressed that so many chicks actually successfully hatched under the one Silkie momma!!!
