Silkie thread!

Does this look like a 2 week old Silkie? When I bought it, that is what the lady said it was but it doesn't look like my other one who is a little older. It's just as big but not as fluffy.

It has some Silkie qualities but it looks very big. Looks like dark skin and five toes but head and body feathering doesn't look Silkie.

The lighting in that pic makes the roo look like he has leakage around the hackle. The chicks could be blues.

Yes the roo has gold leakage. Well that will be very interesting to see yellow chicks turn blue! A couple of the chicks do have grayish/bluish parts but primarily yellow.

I agree. It looks like a mix or it's a lot older. My two week old Silkie does not look that big or as developed as that one.

Babies were just successfully moved into a bigger cage/brooder and jumped around in excitement as soon as their feet hit the bedding!

They look to be about 3-4-5 weeks old they are cute

Ya mine are probably about that old I like them when they are a few days old and they love to be held and cuddle

There is indigoegg in Florida they have really nice stock or there is Gretchen or sweet heart silkies and there is a few more pm me if u would like to know a few more or if interested about those people
