I'm wondering could it be a frazzle
ultimately that's what it may look like but the hen I have like this I know for sure she is not a frazzle.

So the Partridge in the APA is a Brown/Gold Partridge while Gray is Gray/Silver Partridge? Gosh, photos would be helpful in these descriptions. The Gray Silkies thread has so many variations of Gray. Guess it's sort of like the regular Partridge -- a large variety in shades of coloring.
I need SILKIE pullets............... out of my flock of 8 I have 4-5 roos.... I really need to get girls, I was like OKAY, i'll go on my pet chicken and order mixed silkie pullets.......... and they are sold out like a year+ in advance? ***.
.............. any chance you'd ship'?Too bad you aren't closer... I have an entire flock of blues and blacks that I should really rehome...
Sorry, I don't ship birds...![]()

Sucks! lolSilkies aren't very big. That's odd.New here, but wondering how big Silkie Bantams should be? I bought 4 at TSC (listed as just Bantams) along with 2 White Leghorn pullets and 2 Black Australorps (straight run). We lost one BA the next day, but the remaining 7 are now about 7 weeks old. Well, the 4 Silkies who are supposed to be Bantam are just as big as the Leghorns! And the BA is as small as my 4 week old EEs! I will post pics as soon as I can get some... I'm wondering if they were mislabeled and the BA is the real Bantam... ????
Hens go broody when you don’t want them to… and won’t go broody when you do.
