Silkie thread!

I am in Swainsboro, Georgia and I've been searching for a place to purchase some silkies. I have a flock of 16 mixed breeds that I keep for egg production, so ordering from most hatcheries isn't going to work for me. Most have 15-25 chick minimums and the shipping cost is fairly steep from most places. I dont need that many birds lol. I would like to start out with two roosters (in case one doesn't make it.. never know.. that's nature) and 8 hens. I have a coop with a run that would be exclusively for the silkies to protect them from the other guys.. I would be willing to travel aprox. 100 miles or less to pick them up.

Do any of you know if a breeder I could contact?

(Swainsboro is down around Statesboro, Vidalia, Dublin, etc.)

I'm on the Augusta Hepzibah line address is Hephzibah but down the street is Augusta address. It is 60 miles from Swainsborro.

I have a few pictures of what I have left. Don't have very many pullets left. I will need to keep some for myself. Everyone wants the pullets mostly that's one of the reasons you don't see to many breeders.

How much would you charge for two pullets? Any color but partridge is fine.

That buff one in the last picture is so pretty! Looks to be a pullet?
