wow look at that crest..................... jaw dropping! BEAUTIFUL white pullet ya got there! We should trade...... lol Where did you get that gorgeous silkie from!!!!! omg I want it! lol
Thanks Joe, she's a Bobbi Porto chick out of Hokey and is just 3 months old. I only have 1 white silkie.
She's very little compared to my other chicks and needs to fill out. She has great toes, nice wings and a poofy tail.
I never thought I would say "I need a roo".

Hey Brenda, I have some about the same age that I got from Vickie (sunshine silkies) so when they are older I bet I end up with several roos and will be glad to hook you up!!
Wanted to show you the lovely white pair that I purchased from Shari at Harvest Breeze Farm. Thanks so much, Shari!! They are very happy and the young man is very busy. I have one of the white hens laying again (one is catatonic broody) and I will be popping them in the incubator after collecting for 10 days...can't wait.
I actually have 2 dozen silkie eggs from Bobbi Porto in the bator now! So far, about 10 look good. Hopefully I get one as good as you!!!
Joe, You lucky duck! You will get some nice chicks.
It's so much fun to watch her eggs hatch because she writes the names of the roo's on them. I was doing great until the buff's all hatched at once.
You can see most of her roo's on her website. Who did you get?
Jenn! I may take you up on that. My friend lives in Barnesville and I'll be making that road trip by the end of summer or maybe nationals in November.
Judy- Very pretty pair. How's that r-com working out for you? Do you like it? I'll need a new incubator soon. I sold my Brinsea. I think it was heating unevenly and the eggs direcly under the fan never hatched. 4 both times.
Silkietime- Please post a pic of him if you have one

I really like the Rcom. I've had 3 hatches in it and had good hatches each time. I only wish the lid was a bit taller so the chicks have a bit more room after hatching...but they do fine. It is rock steady in temp and humidity.
Brenda anytime you want to stop over you are more than welcome but you gotta come to nationals!!
I went for the first time last year and was in heaven! I am still trying to get the nerve up to enter some of my birds. I have never done shows yet and this is a great one to get my feet wet at.
Actually maybe I should start with something smaller!! Lol!
