Buffs are hard, have been working for three years.

Hi Love all the pics....especially love those buffs i have 9 little week old buffs and i wee splash in the basement right now...and a few not sure how many out in the barn brooder some of them are from Kelar eggs hope they turn out as nice as yours...just got some Hattrick ladies cant wait till they start laying ...buffs are so pretty...well actually all silkies are pretty...so many varieties so little room..lol

Wow, those buffs look great! Im going to win that Kelar auction sometime in the next few months, I really like her birds, and not super far from me, just have to fine tune and perfect my incubator or buy a new one. If my chick I posted is a buff, I ll be really happy! I like it anyway, my first hatchling ever!

I love them i got them from Phage and she got them from kelar. They are 6 months old

Dont feel bad about losing an auction by a few cents...i lost a lavender pullet tonight by 75 cents....it is a bummer when that happens....i may have some buffs to sell once they are more mature we have very nice bloodlines and my son has won BV in the JR show with his pullet at Ohio Nationals and other shows last year....We are in our second year of breeding silkies we lived in Ontario Canada prior to this and had a few pet quality birds now i discover that they were non bearded whites and the pair of cockerel brothers i have in the old pen are actually correct versions of this type...live and learn....and yes we brought the birds from Canada with us and some are over 10 years old so they can live a long time....
