Technically any bird that doesn't have disqualifications is show quality. That said SQ versus BQ is a very subjective thing. The pictures the seller chose on that listing I believe are mostly roosters and pullets (?) so it's hard to say and of course I don't want to be offensive to anyone. At my house I'd call those babies BQ but that's just me. Then again it could just be not the best choice of pics.

My favorite, prettiest, most SQ pulley died today, probably eggbound. Which means, out of seven SQ birds I am down to two, who are not the same color and can never breed. Grrr... Anyone have any partridge and/or white eggs I can buy? I'll try again to get some good birds...

13 weeks it's still hard to tell. Those are probably pin feathers you are seeing not a quality defect. I have a birds much older that are still full of those. Hard feathers are more like a normal feather on a non silkied bird, usually you would be seeing those in their tails not their crest. If you have a flea comb or similar you can try breaking off the casing of one if you're curious, I don't see the harm in that. At 13 weeks you might start to see streamers but it depends on the bird. Those can be an indicator that it's a cockerel.

I feel your pain... What region of Arizona do you live in? I have a little 4 month old cockerel that is white who needs an awesome home. In another month or so I'm hoping to have some extra eggs from my whites. I'm still working on hatching for myself. If you remember PM me in a few weeks I don't mind mailing you a small batch from my quintet as a test for myself. BTW my whites are beautimous

Also they are my only breeding group left as of late

I'm in vail, a little town outside Tucson. I do need a white cockerel, for my remaining white hen... I just hope my brooch is still a brooch after a few weeks (but seeing as she has been broody for the past two months, I'm pretty sure a few more weeks on the golf balls won't hurt)

I heard about the whole mess with tour flock. That really sucks
