I think the first chick in the picture is awesome. Have no idea what it is but is very cool looking.

I have one just like it and when I bought it, I thought it would be a blue but it also has that brown or rust in its feathers. Now I too am wondering what color it is going to be. I just picked it out.......it was not sold as any particular color and I have no other info on it. Maybe someone out there knows what this color is called.

Oh thank you, thank you!! That gives me hope. I was getting worried as so many folks are saying how hard it is to hatch shipped Silkie eggs, and then this! I'm going to candle them on Monday to see what I can see. This will be a first for me, because with the Marans eggs, even my LED flashlight won't penetrate the dark shell. I'll, hopefully, get to finally see some babies in eggero!
