I think your black silkie looks perfect. I fell in love with only the whites at first until my daughter had a huge black one and some other colors that was pretty. She had 3 she gave me call Copper boy because that was his color and Miss Kitty and Marshall Dillon. Ole Marshall Dillon turned out mean as a snake and every time hubby would turn around too leave the coop he would try too spur him in the back. Needless to say he sold Marshal Dillon but let Miss Kitty go with him as that was his mate. Miss Kitty was such a sweet hen but bless her heart she couldn't gain weight cause she wanted too sit on a nest all the time. I do miss all my chickens that I have had to sell. I would need a big farm to put all of them on if I got them back.

They are very pretty. I use kitten shampoo or Johnson no more tears baby shampoo for bathing my birds.

I use the Johnson shampoo as well. It's not fancy but it gets the job done and I love the way they smell afterwards.

Used to use 'Kangaroo Mangoroo' before I ran out-than stuff smelled amazing. Who wouldn't want a mango scented chicken?

it could be a splash but knowing that my birds are lavender splits im thinking this one is more of a lavender them a splash
