lol no no no no, you see im divorced since i got these (except the guinea pigs), half of the pets. though my ex wife wanted the other half of pets.

she was pretty tolerant of the feeder insects i had though, even though the Ts were hers), and the feeder "beetles" did chase her (apparently they can sense evil.. lol).

I don't usually talk about the kazillon Silkie chicks I hatch but tonight is different.

For those that allow hens to hatch and raise chicks you might understand this. I have 11 pens in my coop, all have birds in them. Many of those pens have chicks from about one month in age on up. I went in to close up, I was walking to the far end of the coop when I heard a new voice. I stopped and listened for a moment and pin pointed where the sound came from. It was the pen with the roo, five two month old chicks and two broodies. And just peeking out from under one of those broodies was my first paint. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised when I open up tomorrow morning. Of course that means I've got to move the older chicks to their own pen.

When I told my husband I heard the chick he looked at me like I was nuts. "How can anyone hear anything that small with close to 50 birds in there?" Well, I can and I did.
