I order mine from ABA and they recommend size 15. I think 9 would be a little small? Need wiggle room for all those feathers. Anybody??
I just started with Silkies, mine are only 5 months old, they seem to be the right size.

No, I just checked their chart, and " all feather legged bantams" says size 15. If I were smart enough to be able to do links, I would enter it here. Maybe they aren't solid bands? they don't specify on the Cutler website what kind gets what size?
Very confusing!! I have banded lots of birds, and these fit well.....

The sizes probably vary depending on the manufacturer. I measured the Cutler bandettes and the size 9 has an inside diameter of 5/8 inches.

NO! this isn't an argument! This is learning! I get my bands straight from the American Bantam Association, and look...

I guess you have to research every place that supplies them!!

Now, anyone who has a foreign car KNOWS that a 5/8 wrench fits on a 15mm bolt. I think Cutler is just trying to confuse us! 5/8in = 15mm. Where they have to stick number 9 on it??

The ABA bands are different than regular size 15 bands. Regular size 15 bands are huge.
