thank you i actually have 24+ more eggs comming in the mail the lady is shipping them tomorrow or wendsday and they are going to be from the same nice lady as the eggs these beautiful chicks came out of. i can not wait already got my incubator up and running even thought i know they eggs are 4 to 5 days away hubby thinks i am crazy but hopefully around the beginning of the year aroun the end of january these in the pictures will be laying and then i can hatch some from my own silkies at that time they will be around 25 weeks old and hopefully be able to tell the girls from the boys hope i have more girls than boys. i have a question as they get older i will be seperating them into different pins what colors should i keep together

I am facing this same question as I have a flock of youngsters growing! My best understanding is that white is by itself, buff is by itself, partridge is by itself with maybe a black roo to beef up the black in the partridge. Some are breeding for blue partridge and blue is introduced for some unknown generations. Blue, black and splash are housed together known as a BBS pen. Lavender with lavender or lav/split (usually black/lavender cross that looks black). Then there is the silver/grey partridge (awesome color) which I am still trying to determine and paint which is totally awesome and way over my head!!

Other project colors are porcelain and chocolate and....
