I put up a BIN auction for 3 silkie roos. I will give them away if someone wants to come and get them. They just need good homes. Pics are on the BIN page
 
SWEAR WORDS!!!!!!
Just took one to the vet for a staff infection. Called DH on the way home to hear that my dog had gotten one. After a final head count, five are missing and it's dark. Do ya really think I'm missing 5!!!!! I can't win for loosing

So sorry. Hopefully some are hiding in a safe place and reappear in the morning. Either way, try to focus on the ones you have and it will get better. I had such a discouraging start with chickens but finally everything is going very well now. I've learned chicken keeping has its ups and downs. The cute little buggers are worth it!

There are so many predators and problems that we chicken lovers must deal with. Fortunately there are usually more good days than bad. Hope the missing ones are hiding.
