Note that I said MOST were not; I didn't say that none are. Problem is people hear a name, and without a clue of the standard think it sounds right for "their colour." I never expect a project to be perfect, especially in the beginning, but I do expect that terms that are already in use will be pretty close to the goal, or else a different term should be used.A bird that has both blue and lemon colouring is not lemon blue. It also needs to have the correct colours and patterns in the correct places.

Sonoran, Can you please tell me what to breed to get WHITE Silkies? I have two white hens. Thanks Aria

I'm not an expert, but I bred a white silkie hen to a white silkie rooster and I got white babies. Hope that helps.
