Thanks so much. I really love my silkie and as with you , especially my roo! He loves to be held and cuddled. He even crows when I hold him so I know he is comfortable. MY silkie gals are sweet also. I can't wait till spring so I can have some pure silkie babies. Never had them yet.

My boy also is the one that gets up on my lap and loves to be petted and he also crows. There must be something to this "boy stuff"! LOL

I have a PQ silkie cockerel, and he's been free ranging with my other chickens.

I want to pen him back up, but I don't have a mate for him.

I have two girls with one boy, and the silver girl could be separated, but she's so attached to the boy,
she's currently staying with. I hate to take her from her comfort zone.

I feel like the best solution is just buy another simple PQ girl, just to be his pen mate.
But I don't know anyone around here who has them?
