Silkie thread!

I have had 2 out of 3 silkies go broody in the past 2 months and they were hatched last spring & summer. So that would make them 9 months to a year old.

Thank-you. Well, that should be just in time for next years egg hatching. Another question for you. I already have a FBCM roo. If I end up keeping a silkie roo out of this hatch, will he pick on the little guy? I assume a roo is a roo no matter the size right?

Hi all!! I am looking for some opinions. My 5 silkies have grown so fast, and all look so beautiful to me.

However, we have to be selective, and can only have one roo, and that position was given to my Polish, so, I am going to donate any silkie roos to the local 4-H if they are good enough quality. They are almost 5 months old, can anyone tell me if they are 4-H worthy, and of course if anyone can tell the roos that would be a bonus! Sorry about the names/email on the pics, I saved over the originals accidentally. Oh, and Harry (last) has taken the longest to fill out, still doesn't seem as mature as the rest. Thanks all!!!!
