Country the only one I seen up there with Buffs was Melissa was she on the end in a car with a bunch of other buffs and offering hatching eggs for sale? That chick looks to be about 2 months old (8-10 weeks) Or was it Kathy (showgirl picture on her shirt, on the end in the grass under a tent) ???

You are right she is not a true black, she is a very dark blue. As she matures it will be even harder to tell.

Man, you were there and I missed you? Bummer! We came late (morning nonsense with our son) and it was me, my hubby (tall, thin) with our ten-year old daughter in tow squealing over every single chicken and proclaiming how she had to buy them all.

And, yeah, she had eggs and a bundle of cockerels/roos left when I got to her, several of them good-looking buffs plus one partridge I noticed...can't remember the vehicle but she was on the tailgate/backside of it, not on the grass. I think I know the other lady you're talking about, too, she had lavender and white chicks about this age? Anyway, sounds like it was Melissa. Do you know her screen name so I can pm her and get the chicks bday? Call me a freak, but there's a hyper little place inside my heart that feels calm and happy when my records are all straight.

Too funny that you saw us--and with Janine, too! I've been meaning to go visit her and her silkies some time. I hate to admit it, but I'm afraid a lot of the people are a blur for me...I'm much better at remembering the birds.

I will not be attending chickenstock though within a few weeks I will be thinning out my partridge grow outs.

If I want Splash, and I already have black, what should I get? Blue right? I'm no good at genetics and I can't seem to find where it was explained a while back.
