Silkie thread!

Hey everyone, my husband got home early tonight and we trimmed Einsteins beard/cheeks. It was kinda scary and we had to try multiple pairs of scissors, but we finally got it. Einstein was so good and just held still. I think s/hes happier already, we can see the eyes so much better and s/he was walking up the ramp earlier! Thanks for all the good advice. We are just going to have to keep trimming it every so often!

Well, the good news about feathers is they don't grow like hair!

Wow, this "quote" function is acting really strange today. I really enjoy these pics TheChicknGarden. Your photos are great!

so since i haven't posted a picture of my muffin lately , figured why not ? lol out of the original 3 pastries she ended up being the only pullet, she's a very fluffy one and my 1 year old's favorite. she really loves sitting and petting her & cupcake (muffin's bestie) ...

The lady I purchased them from off of Ebay has all the colors separate so they breed true to color. I hatched out 22 in the first batch out of 28 eggs and I have a second batch going of 35 eggs so I bet I get a really good color selection. I plan on keeping the colors separate as well when I breed them
