OK, I have a problem. When I came home today my beautiful snow white silkies had some black smudges all over their backs. I'm afraid they went snooping around under my car. Any suggestions as to what I can use to wash it off?

Has to be one of the BEST PHOTOS I have seen in forever! I think I would blow it up frame it and look at it everyday! Love that shot!

Have you tried Dawn dish soap? That's what they use on the sea birds that get caught in oil spills.

You can try Cowboy Magic Green Spot Remover. Best thing since
sliced bread for easy removal of grass stains, mud, urine poop etc.
Smells good too!

Thanks everyone. Tried plain old baby shampoo and it didn't budge. So definitely oil based.

his colour seems to look like an older verson of my chick dose the origianl poster have any pics of hime around 2-3 months

After posting in the Partridge silkie thread about the gender of my baby partridge, and the response that I got from SilverSilkie, I am going to guess they are both hens. SilverSilkie stated that roos have a much curvier upper beak than hens. There is also a picture comparison. Very interesting!

Hello Everyone! I am very excited to find a Silkie threadI adopted my very first bantam Silkie chicks over a month ago. "Batman and Robin" are absolutely adorable! I was wondering if anyone has any idea what gender they might be? It might be too early to tell. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
