If he is infact a she I am usure of what to name her, I forrget pure silkies have....10 toes right? 5 on each foot

Pure silkies can have less, but that would be undesirable.

She is not pure because she is smooth and not silkied.

I would use her in a sizzle project

You would need to get ahold of a sizzle male. I really think it is a girl to tell you the truth. It just doesn't look masculine to me.

Yea my five year old cousin named it so we have always called it a he. Guess Ill have to start thinking of a name for her

Just thought I'd share some recent pictures of my 4 oldest Silkies. I think they're somewhere around 4 months now.

My favorite, Tina. She hopped out to see me when I was filling up their feeder, which prompted this little photo shoot. For some reason, Tina has me convinced that she needs a name change (as in a more manly name). She's alot bigger then her coop mates, and has been honking at me lately. But I'll still love her if she turns out to be a dude, and it'll solve the issue of being rooster-less. Eh...

Lola, the feistiest of their little bunch.

Ellie Mae, the super tiny splash.

And Wednesday, my daughters favorite. I'm suspicious about this one as well. Its recently had an explosion of feathers come out in its crest though. So I'll say *she* is looking alot more round now then when I took these pictures a couple of days ago. Thanks for looking!!!

Silkies and polish always make me think of 80s hair. Do you have a fav singer or actress that she resembles?

I do not my cousin wanted to name her elictric shock or eillie for short becaus he said she looks like she stuck her break in a light shocket and her feathers fluffed out. He thinks its a boy.
