I'd spend more time with them if I could. There just aren't enough hours in the day to get everything done.

Just thought I'd share some pictures of my littlest babies. They're not so little anymore!

Given where you are located and your cold winter months, I wonder if the temperature might freeze the nipple waterers sooner than something with a larger mass? Perhaps think of or prepare a way to keep the tubing (?) warmer, like heat tape??
I do have a winter waterer plan, I think I found the design here on BYC. I'm just not sure the Silkies will be able to utilize the nipple waterers due to their visual limitations(puff)....Thanx for the feedback B

I use them for my silkies and they work great! :)
Thank you...that's Awesome!!! Should I hang my waterer at a good height for the Silkies (whats a good height?) and let the bigger birds adjust or plan to have separate waterers for bigs and littles??? So far i have a mixed bag of Chooks..ha

I took my camera out with me today :) heehee...

Oo Oo! Oh KMH, if you take a field trip to their places, may I tag along? I'd love to see their Silkies and set ups in person, expecially Karen's. Not that I can do any breeding here in the city but you never know what the future holds - maybe someday I'll figure a way!
