My little Lacy girl is being a good momma and is taking care of her clutch. 21 days and counting, LOL. I really want a Buff, Lavender, Partridge, and Splash so say a prayer that they all hatch for me and are girls :)

I'm sooooo excited!!! Thanks Karen.
That red on it's wings looks so vibrant...I don't think I've ever seen a picture of a partridge like this...but then, I'm kind of a newbie. I have a partridge egg from Catdance...I wonder what it will look like?

Karen's partridges range from very light (some look almost silver) to very rich, in color. I would have a hard time choosing, if I had to pick. I just love her birds!!

Sheila :)

Ok now remember I'm new so don't laugh. Anyone got any pics of cuckoo's so I don't go cuckoo trying to figure out if I have cuckoo silkies or silkies. Anyone confused yet I am LOL

Cuckoo is a color of silkie just like Partridge, Black, White... etc.. The cuckoo color is a barred pattern

This is from Feathersite.com and you can go there to see more pics of the cuckoo color if you're still confused. Hope this helps

Thank you - I noticed the beak and was wondering. I will give it a little trim, I am doing the dogs' nails tonight, might as well do it at the same time.
