I am the show chair, for the regional Pomeranian Specialties (two shows) and now is the time where everything is coming together, so I have been focused on hitting deadlines and was 'away' from everything not Pom Show associated. WOW, did I miss a lot. It was great, though, reading the nice posts and looking at the wonderful photo's- with my Sunday morning coffee.

After all the drama of dog people, it is SOOOO nice to relax with you guys!!!

Hope everyone has a nice Sunday!

Sheila :)

Okay, I am in love. All your birds are beautiful but this one is really stunning!! Mind if I take her home???

LOL no way Buckwheat is a favorite around here, however I do have some of my project chicks that are starting to feather in and look JUST like Buckwheat did at that age, so I may have some similar to her available in spring ;)

Another picture of her from last week

lol yeah I love the sweets/food theme

my boys aren't on the theme just my girls :

Taffy, Butterscotch (buffs)
Snickers and Truffles (blue partridge)
Sherbert (well thats an easy one ;) )

Blueberry - blue
Powder (as in powdered dougnut) is a white
Brownie, Cookie, Ginger, Fudge, Chocolate, Pudding, Buckwheat, Spice, Penny (not a food but shes named after her breeder and my friend) and I have 2 younger pullets who i have yet to officially name thinking their going to be Twinkie and Cinnamon though.

I love your theme! Might have to borrow a few

I have three girls that I followed a food theme with:
Blueberry (blue partridge),
Peaches (buff partridge--looked completely buff, as a baby, then the partridge markings started coming in),
Kiwi (porcelain).

I have one girl that is a few weeks younger (raising her up with my Serama-- she is SO much bolder than the older silkies) but haven't decided on a name for her. Was hoping she was going to be another porcelain, like Kiwi (who is a gorgeous light color) but she is getting in a lot of buff, so don't know yet. For some reason a name is just not coming to me yet
