Since they are only 12 weeks old, it's hard to tell quality. My girls did not look like they do now at 12 weeks.
I do think they are adorable as well, and could possibly turn out really nice!

I think the one in the back is a male as well, but to ME (still pretty new so don't completely take my word for it) he is the best looking of the bunch from this picture. If you don't want a male the one on the far right looks more henny to me and looks to be the better of the two in the front. BUT as stated only time will tell. If you want better answers try a photoshoot with each one individually of th side, face, wing where the wing is extended, the top line, and their feetTime will tell I guess.I'm just impatient about figuring out genders. You don't close the door at night?
no there is no door on the front that goes to their run. I am going to put a flap over it, so they can go in and out freely but still keep the draft out.
I recently saw a picture of someone who painted her hens nails and I figure I can use that to be sure who is who w/o banding. I am thinking a nice minty green. 
I think there is a combination of issues, A: no door and it is drafty, and B: no ventilation by the top as condensation and heat etc rises. If they're standing by the door opening because it is too moist etc inside then they're also getting drafty and frosty. Or even just frosty bc of the too much draft aspect. I'd do like was suggested in dong a lengthwise ventilation by the roof. Having it go all the way across a few inches wide would be awesome.
i would be affraid something can and well get in there and eat them also the pen well not last through winter the weight of the snow well be too heavy

The outside of my apartment doesn't have any power outletsIt got down to 20's the night they were frosty, but it's been mild, between 45 and 65. Hachi was shivering a little, Nori has a little more fluff than Hachi does. I've been trying to fatten them up a little.
I plan to clean the snow off of the tarp whenever it snows so the snow won't pile up on top of the run.
