How cute it that. I don't have any that will freely come over to sit on my lap. I have Broke Beak (crossed beak d'Uccle) that comes inside to eat her mash I make and she will wander over to me at the couch and she will fly up to the coffee table but I have to grab her to hold her. Maybe one day. The chickens will come to the door when I shake the bag of Meal Worms though, haha. I'm trying with the new silkie chicks to hold them more. I hope this happens with mine soon.Mr. Fluff in the house for his daily snuggle.
And on a car ride.
And sitting on my hand convinced the camera is a treat!
I love him and he is very spoiled. He weaves in and out of my legs like a cat and begs for attention.
Handling them from a young age will help them to be friendlier. Some just never come around as pets, though.
I've found they don't really like to be held so much as just be in my presence, like sitting on the arm of the sofa or next to me in the car. Some of them beg to be in my lap and will sit there for hours as long as I pet and stroke them.
Others will do whatever it takes to get away from me.
