I got a new rooster he is a Batam the breeder I got him from didn’t know what he was ( He was a accident ) so I got him for free gorgeous bird feathers on legs and on top of head!! And is all white. I know he is part silkie because he has blue earlobes ( no black skin) and an extra toe like what silkies have, The breeder only breeds Orpingtons, silkies, white Cochins, and white Ameraucanas. I’m betting he has Ameraucana in him because of his more narrow build and because of his Combe and his more upright stance.

So here is the interesting part he is all white Batam size wonderful Temperament very soft in feathers!! I want to breed him back to all ( white Ameraucanas ) but I want to keep the feathers on the head and on the legs. So I think I would line breed his daughters back to him to try keep the featherd head and legs.

Where do I go from there??? The only thing I have to complain about is he is a little to small for my taste ( I like bigger birds) but other than he is a beautiful and wonderfully built rooster!!
