my first thoughts on seeing her pics are

1 oh how cute!
2 she can see where shes going very well without a puff!

she sure looks like a girl to me also!

I would say that the red comb & wattles are what negates the turquoise earlobes.

her earlobes actually do look turquois in person (or in chicken?)

but we bought her from mypetchicken.com... supposed to be the only hatchery in the country that sexes their silkies... and supposed to be pure bred.... hmmm...

has anyone else ever had a negative experience w/ ill breeding from mypetchicken? we're getting ready to place another order and want to make sure

You can't vent sex bantams--sex-link variety cross, sex indicating variety, wing feather sexing and DNA test are the only options. Vent sexing can easily permanently damage a bantam chicken--they are just too small.
