Silkied Ameraucana Project

Is anyone that is still pursuing the project willing to sell hatching eggs at this time? I kept an eye on the original thread when it first began, yet I have been off of BYC for a while now. The foremost concern then (as you all know) was to increase hatch-ability and strength of the adult birds. Are the birds stronger now? I would love to join the project, thanks for a reply!

My guys are several generations away from the original weak inbred birds and now they are very strong and healthy! Haven't lost any and they spent a harsh winter outside just like all my other birds.

I am breeding 100% Silkied in Lavender and Black split to Lav so if your interested in those colors send me a pm. I have a waiting list but I will be filling orders soon

And I'm still plugging away with the BBS/Mauve/Choc project. Still split to split breedings primarily on the silkied, but have gotten to the point of Choc split boys and a full bator right now............ PM if you'd like more info.

First chick hatched from splash mauve split to silkied cockerel and mauve hen silkied split out of the mauve SiAm pen. Compare mauve to blue chick. Third pic is pic of sire as young cockerel and possibly the mother.
Full sibling also hatched, a mauve splash. Now silkied too would be nice! Waiting to see when they start feathering out. Be doing the happy dance if so!
