Silkies from meyer hatchery!!!

Ok so yet again I'm talking about my silkies I am getting from Meyer hatchery!!! So yea I'm so stinkin excited!!! Well the question is, has anyone on here ever got silkies from Meyer's? If so I would really appreciate any information about them!! How they turned out, their personality, and what they look like now!! So if you have ever got any, put some pictures up please!!! Thank you!!

I have never got silkies from meyer hatchery, but want to say good luck. Silkies are the best, they all have such different and wonderful personalities.

I got some from tractor supply, not sure who they go through. I also have some silkie eggs in the bator to hatch this weekend so yep...I am excited too.

OWell i guess that nobody has ever gotten silkies from Meyers befor?

I have gotten them from hatcheries and breeders before, though I will say now don't be surprised if you find a few single combs or four-toed chicks. Sometimes my birds will throw out the odd hatchling too jsyk. Congratulations on your birds! Silkies are wonderful and very tame...

I have two silkies that were hatched from a local breeder where I live.


This is Q-Tip. She is supposed to b a lavendar splash silkie.

This is Blue Velvet, or Velvet for short...a blue silkie. (I know...creative naming!)

I have had them since they were about 3 weeks old and they r about 15 weeks old now. They r pretty docile...but I am still working to get them tame. We have 28 chicks tho so it's hard to spend time with each of them enough to get them tame but we continue to work with them. I want more silkies...I think u will love them! Make sure u put up plenty of pics.
