Hello, my two silkies and have come into action and I’m wondering if I was to breed them, what I am likely to get, colourwise? It’s a grey roo over a partridge hen. I’m new to silkies so any advice appreciated. Not after show quality just after a variety of colour for my flock.
Thank you

You’ll get grey hens and roosters who look mostly grey but have a gold gene, giving them more red/yellow leakage. Since they’re silkies, which usually aren’t bred pure for color, you’ll probably get some other hidden/recessive colors as well, like recessive white.

Lovely, thank you!
