Silkies in 'central' TX???

Would like to see if there are any silkie breeders in 'central' Texas. I thought there was one but can't seen to find their info. And by 'central' TX I mean within a 125 mile radius of 76856 zip, Dallas/Ft. Worth is not central TX enough for me considering it's about a 4 hour drive one way

San Angelo, Brownwood, San Antonio, Austin, Kerrville, Fredericksburg, etc. are all on my radar.

Not really looking for SQ, PQ is fine and we are looking at B/B/S to add to our 3 white chicks. Not in a huge hurry or anything, just want to know my options so we can add when time is right.

I live in Oklahoma, but my husband works in Sherman, Texas. I am fixing to set about 20-24 Blue's. I have a few in the incubator now. Can let you know what I hatch.

I do have some older blues that are 6-8 weeks olds. You can see them on my website page. I have 2 Splash that are about 3-4 weeks old.

Sherman is a bit far!! We are almost dead center of the state. I'm not sure hubby would go for that long of a road trip but we'll see......

Yep they are a bit far as well! I still get a kick out of how big this state is! No problem though, I'll figure out something, heck I may even decide to start breeding these things is there's no one else around these parts, you never know...... Plus, I may take a road trip somewhere close to someone who breed them and decide to drop them a line. I know I'm going home July 4th (NW Florida) so I may get some from a breeder out there....

So many options... so much to explore.

I live in the Austin area and am wanting silkies also. The feed store I deal with told me they'd be getting some in the spring (straight run though). I can keep you posted or give you their # if you like.

Ideal has Silkies and they are in Texas I think. Let me go check.
