My Silkies are so skittish. The only one that likes me(puts up) is poppy. And I do try and spend time with them but they are so hard to catch. We went away for a week and now my rooster hate me :barnie:(
You gotta give them kisses against their will. Just pick one, carry it around all day like a baby, and the next day you will hear it call "mama"!

My lil fuzzlings in the turnout pen and integrated with the silkie mix babies their age.. It went off perfectly!

Awe congrats on the new babies!
Keep us posted on how they grow out!

I've got more babies too, but they have been raised by mom and dad.. Today the chicks are 3 1/2 weeks old, and either mom or pop has taken all the old straw out of the nesting pot.. So I finished cleaning it out and added fresh dried grass.. First things first.. Shadow Captain has to give his seal of approval before Poof Poof will accept it. 'Hey dad, what r u doing?'
