If I had a brood (of full siblings), then breeded each chick with a different chicken, and did that for a lot of generations, how many generations should I do before breeding the offspring together? Just another random question.

I've never done that myself so I wouldn't like to say for certain but if they all have at least one different birds genes you could probably breed the first generation without issues. Generally speaking, people can do full sibling breedings and get lovely chicks but there's a higher chance of getting traits you don't like showing up and some genetic issues. That doesn't mean you always will though.

When first starting out, I'd try to get as much genetic diversity as you can from different lines and work on creating your own from that

Yep they do, the chick a the back is this one from the other day:

They're both from the same hen. I've worked it out that roughly she produces a ratio of 1 vaulted to every 4 non vaulted chicks.

Oh my goodness! We love our 6 silkies to death! But they really are SO dumb! We have had to manually put them into their coop each night for months because they can't figure out that they are supposed to do it themselves. But we love em anyway!!

@Fur-N-Fowl cement flooring should be okay so long as the have some soft ground to rest their footsies from the hard ground. The only problem with cement is it itself can get very cold.
