Now for comb pics.
Chick 1 Poppy my personal favorite.

Chick 2, who worries me.

Chick 3 who has a single comb although tiny. This one was also the hardest to get a comb picture of as she did not want to be held tonight.

Poppy is looking pretty feminine so far (small feminine comb, and although it doesn't hold true for all lines I find in most lines I've hatched from vaults are much more common in girls). ☺️

Chick 2 does have a fairly wide/large comb so I'd lean cockerel for him/her.

Chick 3 is harder for me to judge (I'm not good at judging single combs) but nothing is looking too cockerel like so I'm very slightly leaning towards pullet.

Very cute little ones! 🥰

My youngest bird, little Himawari is growing up! All of a sudden she doesn’t look like a chick anymore. 12 weeks old tomorrow, photos from today. She is still so tiny and a lot smaller than I remember the others were at this age. 🥰View attachment 2782339View attachment 2782340
Wow that's amazing - in the last picture I saw of her she was still looking so much like a baby! Now she is looking more adult than my tiny James who is 4 weeks older!
Such a beautiful girl 🥰

Thanks! She looks like a mini grown up now! 🤣

My little silkies have been acting like the blind leading the blind lately. My bearded ones that can't see hardly anything like to jump into something they can get stuck in/behind and if one goes, they all go... They can get out, but since they can't see, they don't try to often...

Ok thank you! She is adorable 🥰

How exciting - are you going to brood them? With a broody or with an incubator?
I got into an agreement that If I can grow my nails (I'm a nail biter), I can hatch more eggs. So in a few months I'd like to hatch 1 or 2 of them

My LF Silkie Cockerel at 5 month old..
