I think at that age, you might still have a pullet there... mine started laying at 22 and 24 weeks, so maybe anytime......

She is a real doll. She will fly up to my arm for cuddles. I honestly do not think color has anything to do with it. She was an only chick for 2 days and I carried her around in my hand so she wouldn’t peep all the time until I could get her some buddies. The white silkie in the photos is her bestie.I know this is a silkie thread but....
The last photo just made my heart melt. She is SO CUTE. I think red is a nice cochin colour... @AngBantamLuv told me not to get blue because they're meanies. I was a bit scared in case (if I have to get cochins instead of d'uccles) the cochins are meanies- like that one Ang had that she had to get rid of- but that photo send me off the edge!!!
