Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

Well now I have two that are pipped. First one is a silkie and looks like it is a paint, I can see the bright yellow down and light beak. I’m sleeping in the living room where the incubators are set up so I can hear them if they start to chirp loudly. It is almost 10 PM Hawaii time, I’ll likely be up in a few hours to check on them. Hope to post some photos in the morning!

I don't have silkies and not planning on getting them, but they sure are very cute one of our neighbours has a couple they seem really sweet

First little paint silkie baby has hatched! The dominant white coloring really shows! The remaining 12 eggs have all externally pipped, so I expect to see them by the end of the day.

First two babies in the dryer. Black one is a Polkie and the yellow one is a Silkie.
Third one has hatched is also a paint silkie and is still in the incubator.
