Im doing the same w my chick integration. The neighbor works from home and i KNOW she can hear me all day.. Elsa, stop. Esmeralda, be nice. Minnie that is not your typical behavior. Ok all of you go to time out! 🙄
Sometimes if my chickens are naughty I make them sit on the naughty step for a certain amount of time

Grayson has been asserting himself a lot more and literally grabs my skin and tries to bite it off when they eat out of my hand...he's the only one that does that (well Mango used to). So I just held him and didn't let him have any for a few minutes and then gave him a piece or two and said easy and would you believe he didn't grab my skin! He was so gentle!
They are just like any other animal you put time and effort in - they are pretty smart!
Josie was like - ah there's a world outside of feathers!!! She was a totally different chick!

I accidentally scared ginger and he ran at me. He didn't stop though, and ran into my foot. Silly Ginger!

My little injured chick was not doing so well this morning. Rechecked her leg and had exposed bone at the knee joint. 🙁
Still have no idea how this injury occurred, it was just in the incubator and then the dryer. There’s no sharp edges or anything she could’ve hurt herself on. This combined with not getting enough food in this little one I decided to make the hard decision to cull it. First time I’ve had to do this myself believe it or not! Very difficult experience, I don’t even like killing bugs.
At least she’s not suffering anymore and I’ll bury her under the orange tree with others that have died over the years.
So sorry! Poor little fragile chickies. :( It's always so hard :(
