Daughter: Poof on the left.
Mother: Fluffy, a broiler silkie in the middle.
Father: SnuggleBug, on the right.

I personally don’t mind aggressive silkie boys, of course I don’t breed them because that not a quality that I want passed on.

But I always keep them, they’re so small and fluffy that it feels like a pillow hitting your legs :lau

Besides I could never kill one, or any animals period.
Mr. Evil will bite, & kick my legs with his claws, plus he's growing in his spurs which will hurt worse.
He's also not a small silkie.

Gotcha! Yah, we once had one of those horrible quality hatchery silkies who was such a brute and pretty big, giant for a silkie.

But he was a great flock leader! The hens all loved him and he was very protective of them.

Being an owner of Silkies for just a few months, I've got a question:

How long until they are "grown?" My Silkies are hatchery quality, and they are tiny still. I am wondering if they will get big, too. My Silkie cockerel is very goofy, awkward, def hatchery quality looking. My pullet is looking more like what Silkies should look like. Shes got a large poof and very feathery feet/legs. And they have the cutest blue earlobes!!!
