Pardon my abysmal ignorance, but .. white is dominant, isn't it? So no matter what color cockerel or rooster you breed to any of the white females, aren't the babies bound to be white? Or am I in serious need of schooling here?

There's two types of white genes.
Recessive white, & Dominate white.
Recessive white needs two copies, will cover all color.

Dominate white, only needs 1, or 2 copies, allows color leakage.

I have 1 dominate white rooster, & 2 dominate white Cockerels.

These are my Dominate white boys.
