Just managed to sell my 6 gold x White hatching eggs!

i hatched silkies for the first time this spring in the same clutch as some black cooper marans and some olive eggers. one of the olive eggers was hatched with a crocked neck syndrome. lived and grew and flourished with the rest of the flock. the only thing she couldnt do that the others did was roost. because of the way her head was twisted down she did not have the capability or balance to roost` so she stayed on the ground. 2 of the silkies in the clutch stayed on the ground with her. it seem the silkies are kind and caring animal. they also really like human companionship. grandkids love them and they seem to reciprocate the feelings.
