Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

I'm so happy there is an active thread for silkie lovers! I love seeing everyone's silkies here, so many adorable fluff balls! I've got 30+ silkies and would really like to start breeding paint silkies (and maybe some mixed color in a separate pen just for fun).

Here is my flock of silkies, the colors are all mixed right now but all but one aren't laying yet anyway. My oldest are around 7 months and my youngest closer to 5 months. (sorry for the terrible pictures, I'm no good at taking nice ones)!

All but two are pullets in the first pic and all pullets in the second

I just hatched some chicks from these two a couple days ago

Dad (bearded paint)

Mom (beardless splash)

Babies (probably won't have the little guys long as I'm trying to sell to hopefully get a little income back to put towards feed/supplies for my flock)

Thank you! I was really lucky to get some beautiful paints from hatching eggs from a few different show breeders!

I desperately want a partridge. It's just something i haven't seen before

Try and get one (or two!) they're a lovely colour

I'll try to remember! I'm terrible at taking pictures though.. I always forget!

They do don't they! I always do it in the winter because I never take pictures of them then and it's too embarrassing for me to show them off like that.

Haha well I'll look forward to seeing them!
