Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

Is it possible to have laced silkies? One of my chicks seems to have black neck feathers with white outlines around them? Her comb looks different too! I'll get a pic later

Maybe a mix? If her comb looks different, and odd feathering, I would expect that it’s not purebred. Could be wrk by though. A picture would be helpful when you have the time.

Not a usual thing to have 100% hatch rate so if you got a few more eggs and if 3 or 4 did end up hatching could you sell excess chicks?

We didn't want to spend too much money on them since we don't know if she'll last 21 days. It's too late anyway!!! At least if it doesn't hatch or she gets off then we didn't waste too much on it

Is this the chicken in question? I can see the interesting patterning, but I can’t really see the comb.

But, to be fear, I’ve only kept 2 silkies, which was a pure black and a mostly white with a bit of splash. So I’m really not an expert.

Blue won't stay still so I can't get comb pics but maybe I can explain.
It's like 2 small single combs next to eachother with a flat bit between them. But instead of turning into a "beginner's walnut-bump", it just goes into her afro.

I'm absolutely no expert, especially regarding colors - but I have seen pictures of silver partridge silkies and your sweet Blue reminds me of them. What a beautiful girl!
