That's what I was thinking. Didn't know if he may continue feathering in darker or not.Looks blue to me.
Blue can vary from so light they get confused with lavender and so dark they can look black. Difference is usually the gradient of color that goes from dark at the head and gets lighter on the body.

Either way, I heard his crowing this morning. It is so cute at this point. LoL May not be as adorable when I have 4 or 5 crowing silkies and zero hens.![]()
