Silkies - They’re simply SPECTACULAR!

Biscuit and Cookie fight often but no blood so that is good, so they may just get along ok.

Smokey is broody and nesting on 8 eggs now. Cookie kept mating her in the nest so I had to rearrange the nest area and separate Smokey - I'd normally leave broody to hatch within the flock but Cookie kept jumping on her and also sleeping with her at night for some reason .. I'm thinking because I recently put him in this coop he might be trying to dominate all the hens even broody on a nest!

I was a little worried the first few days after swapping out Rooster for Cookie, Biscuit wouldn't come up to me as he usually would and hang around me while I'm up at the coop .. But today he was back to normal at my feet and following me around
I wonder if it will be his offspring or Cookie's that Smokey will hatch out! I'm thinking Biscuits!
What colours do you think I'll get from Biscuit and Smokey's offspring? .. and I think 2 x Puffs eggs are under her too - Puff is just white.

They are feathering in nicely.
Tiny looks like a cream partridge which isn’t an official color, but closest I can think of. Is this the one you thought originally was paint?
Munchkin looks like a chocolate with leakage, hard to tell in the photo.
I love their unusual coloring.

Blue's in the coop RIGHT NOW laying her first egg!

She's been quite loud today and kept on going into the coop. And now she's in and she's scratching all the bedding around and she's been in there for a few minutes!!!
My baby girl!!!
I never thought she would make it to laying age when she hatched. She was so weak and she couldn't walk
