Gammas Bearded Babies
Crossing the Road
Girls aren't layin yet so perhaps both roos are trying to encourage them on lol! That's a roo. They don't lay eggs.
They will however, try and show hens good nesting spots, wich he may be trying to do.

I was just reading how you lost her and then saw your second post!We found her!!! YAY!!!She was in the big chicken coop squeezed down in the poop bin! Blended right in with all the poop! I did not think to look in the poop bin
But now she’s snuggled up under my chin and talking to me. Probably telling me how scary last night was

My hatch here March 8/9 I only got 50% hatch rate from my own eggs and they didn’t have to be shipped anywhere! So you never know, you actually had an excellent hatch rate, considering how far those eggs had to travel to get to you!Yeah i know a lot of people have a lot worse hatch rates than 4 outta 7 I'm lockdown...I guess I got spoiled the past few.
I learned a lot though and think my daughter is gonna take these lil cuties!

I set 12, had 3 early quitters along the way and after lockdown had another 3 DIS.
Looked good at lockdown but they never internally pipped. I also have 3 malpositioned that needed to be partially assisted and the last one looks like it may have some leg issues.
It’s still in the incubator, hasn’t been quite 24 hours yet. Giving it a chance to find its feet and we’ll see what happens. The other five all look great and are happily eating away already in their brooder.
I’ll post photos later.
Three are dark blue and three are paint.
I have another set due to hatch in 5 days!
