I swear, I can never tell with the colors!! The down and the shades and the breeding, it's all so confusing lol. Thank you!The 4 darker ones could be either black or dark blue (which can look black sometimes). The light colored one getting some darker feathers in could be a lighter downed blue or a dark splash. That ones feathers are coming in too dark for lavender I believe. Light blues when bred to be lighter can look similar to lavenders though, blues and splash can vary in shade quite a bit.
Those feathers really do have such a beautiful pattern close up, they are both such pretty girls!![]()
I don’t mean to hate on silkies, in fact I have some, but they aren’t the brightest bulbs in the box
They figure out really quick that if they can dunk their heads in water, they can slick their crests out of their eyes to see.
