Egg on left is from my 9 year old ameraucana it's gotten smaller as she's got old.

Egg on right is from an F3 project silkie. This is her 3rd egg. I'm impressed with the color as I know she only has 1 copy of the blue egg gene. It also doesn't has the greenish tint from the normal silkie egg color.

Any hope of this egg hatching? Possibly damaged from another hen laying her egg on top of broody. Due in about a week. I tried to seperate her with the eggs but she escaped and went back to her own nest. I'll have to try again.View attachment 3319896

I'd put it in the incubator and cross my fingers. In the bator it has a decent chance
