It's just so odd how big she is...especially compared to the definite lil girlee. But I guess that one could be more of a runt.
I hate they aren't all as tiny as the lil one though. I luv a small Silkie!

Weeeeeeee, I spotted this after feeding this morning.. So I went to investigate.. Steelie is hatching and the babies are hiding under Poof Poof in the back.. PP was so hungry she ate out of my hand (That's a first for her). And of course, even let me see! These kids are from Top Gun and two daughters of Poof Poof (not the sitting hens as I robbed the nest to find not a single egg was fertile after 3 weeks, so I moved eggs from the incubator to the nest and am letting these two moms do the heavy lifting).

How many did you put under em to hatch?

I put 5 eggs under them.. 2 have hatched, one has pipped, and the other two I can't tell yet.

Update: Four have hatched, the third was another splash baby. Haven't seen #4 yet, and the last egg I candled when I went out to lock down pens at sunset.. Looks to have internally pipped so far. Great when all goes so well on day 21.
