Hi, I'm sure you guys get this question all the time and I've read several of the threads already. I believe my silkies to be non-vaulted but was hoping to get validation from you guys. They have nice size top knots now that they are about 2 months old, but as chicks they looked like any other baby bird. The first one on the left isn't a silkie, but the others are. What'd y'all think? Thanks guys!!!

Not to sound really dumb but can you explain the term vaulted and non vaulted? I am new to the chicken business and we have a mixture including: 6 RSL hens, 3 Wyandotte roos, 2 Silkies and 4 Guineas. So it is a "hodge podge" of birds on our acreage. In fact I am not even sure one of the Wyandotts is actually a roo. It doesn't have much of a comb and it's wattle is very small while the other two are definitely roos and crow quite a bit. But a lot of the terminology used on this site is confusing to me. Any help you can give will be greatly appreciated! Thanks!!!
