When they sleep they look like a big pile of fluff!! Its sooo cute!! They are cute and very desirable so if you ever wanna sell some babies they will be gone in a minute. They are very good broodies and mothers
I definately think they are stinkier although I have no idea why. As long as you keep up with cleaning your coop regularly, then you shouldn't have a problem with the smell.
The only down side is they love to go broody and they will try to share the same nesting box. On the up side, they will hatch any egg you put under them..
I have a couple and the only bad thing that I notice is that they can hardly see. Just make sure to keep them safe against predators. The feathering on their heads covers their eyes.
